It could be part of a plan to develop nuclear weapons by the world’s top sponsor of terrorism. Or it could be a lie from a group with an axe to grind. Figuring out which it is could be a matter of life and death.
An Iranian opposition group raised new allegations that Iran has built another secret underground nuclear site. The Daily Telegraph reported the claims were from the National Council of Resistance of Iran, which itself is accused by Iran and the US of being a terror group.
The resistance group said the new facility has tunnels and warehouses spread across 300 acres. It did not say what type of nuclear facility it was, but did say it recently was completed.
The group linked Iran’s new president, Hassan Rouhani, to the nuclear site.
If true, the allegations don’t bode well for us. If Iran is still developing secret nuclear facilities, it will make it even harder to know how close Iran is to nuclear weapons.
A nation that calls the US the “great satan” and sponsors a number of terror groups cannot be allowed to go nuclear.
