Israel fought a seven week war with Gaza last summer in an effort to achieve a renewed level of calm in southern Israel, and they aren’t letting terrorists change the deterrence balance again now. A rocket attack on Friday from Gaza was met with an Israeli air strike, according to the IDF Spokesperson’s Twitter feed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in comments released by his office, said the target in Gaza was a cement factory used for building terror tunnels from Gaza into Israel and said that the Hamas terror group that runs Gaza “bears the responsibility for any escalation.” He later made it clear that Israel buy brand name klonopin won’t back down in their fight with terrorism.

“Over the weekend we sent a clear message to Hamas—we are not prepared to countenance the firing of even one rocket and we are responding accordingly and in strength,” said Netanyahu in another statement released by his office.

The summer’s war with Gaza was Israel’s third since the end of 2008. In this round, Israel destroyed dozens of terror tunnels designed to enable Gaza terrorists to enter Israel for attacks and kidnappings.

In the past, sporadic Gaza rocket fire has followed more serious rounds of conflict, and sometimes it has built into an intense renewal of fighting. This time, it appears Israel’ isn’t letting it get that far.
