Iran Calls for End of Israel; Hamas Terrorist Studied Hitler

On Sunday, Israel revealed that a copy of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” translated into Arabic was found in a Gaza home used as a Hamas base, just one day after Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi openly called for the elimination of the State of Israel. Israeli President Isaac Herzog, in an interview with the BBC that was separately reported in an Israeli press release, said the copy of Hilter’s anti-Semitic manifesto was found on the body of a Hamas terrorist inside a civilian home in Gaza. The book had notes in the margins, highlighted text and annotated sticky notes.

“This is the book that led to the Holocaust and the book that led to World War II. This book was found a few days ago in northern Gaza. In a child’s room, which became a base used for terrorist activities by the terrorist organization Hamas,” Herzog was quoted as saying in the press release. “The terrorist wrote notes, marked the sections, and studied again and again, the ideology of Adolf Hitler to hate the Jews, to kill the Jews, to burn and slaughter Jews wherever they are. This is the real war we are facing.”

The discovery comes during a war that was started on October 7 when Hamas terrorists murdered 1,200 Israelis—mostly civilians—and kidnapped hundreds more. Women, children and the elderly were among those attacked by Hamas. In response, Israel launched their first official war in 50 years in an effort to decimate Hamas and recover the hostages.

With that in the background, Iran’s President told an Arab summit in Saudi Arabia on Saturday that “the sustainable solution” to the Israel-Palestinian conflict is the creation of a single Palestinian state from “sea to river”—meaning no more State of Israel. The comments, published by the Fars News Agency in Farsi and translated by Google, indicate a vision in which the only Jewish State is gone and is replaced with a Palestinian state where Jews are allowed to live. This obliteration of Israel echoes prior calls from Iranian leadership to wipe Israel off the map and references to Israel as a cancer.

Raisi didn’t stop there. He further called Israel the “illegitimate child of America” and said leaders of both Israel and the United States should be punished in international court for their actions. He called for the Arab nations to designate the IDF as a terrorist entity and said if the situation continued that “the Islamic countries should arm the Palestinian people and help them fight” against Israel. Iran is a major sponsor of Hamas terrorism, foments conflict across the Middle East, aids Russia in their war in Ukraine and is heavily sanctioned over their nuclear program.

Meanwhile, Hamas’ war crimes have continued to be exposed in Gaza, including the home where the copy of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” was found. The Israeli press release on Herzog’s BBC interview said the civilian home had a laboratory for explosives and “represented further proof of Hamas’s terrorist activity in the heart of the civilian population in Gaza.”

Said the Israeli press release, “After the massacre and atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists on October 7—which saw more Jews murdered in one day than since the Holocaust—this discovery testifies to the sources of inspiration of the terrorist organization Hamas and proves once again that all its actions have one goal—the destruction of Jews.”
